i would have no doubt he would be extremely touched by the outpouring of grief expecially since he always just considered himself as a regular bloke.....i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

he would properly say crikey people I'm an ordinary bloke just doing a job. but i appreciate all the love and care shown on my parting and the support shown to my family. but if was able to say something to anyone after his death it would probably be to his wife Terri and he would probably say i love u mate, and thank you for supporting me with my work and look after my babies.

He would probably like it but feel somewhat amazed by it. Lets face it, he did like attention. He deserves all of the fuss though.
