It means you want people to THINK you killed someone. You want them to think it bad enough that you are willing to scar your face with an amateur tat. I think a tougher statement would be to walk around with a box full of tear tats that you have cut off of other guys faces.

means you were in prison. If say, a person has two tears, I think that means he/she has been in prison twice, 3=3times, etc
