Pregnancy: to find out if you're going to have a girl or boy, leave the room while someone hides a knife and a pair of scissors under two different cushions/seats/whatever. When you return, if you sit on top of the knife, you'll have a boy and you'll have a girl if you sit where the scissors are hidden.
My hubby wanted a boy, and tried to cheat me into sitting on the knife by casually leading me to where it was hidden. Instead, I chose to sit where the scissors were, and had a girl... I guess it worked on me, eh?

I like the one where if a woman is pregnant and she is carrying high its a boy and if its low its a girl also the ring thing cracks me up. This is where the pregnant woman lies on the couch or a bed and someone dangles a ring on a string or a necklace--if it stays still its a girl and if it moves its a boy. That is just to much

I was told, while I was pregnant, that it was dangerous to go out when a full moon was up. The only way to stay safe was to wear a real copper key. So, my m-i-l got one for me and put it on a string. Everytime I left the house during a full moon, I had to put it on or there would be something wrong with my baby.
