Hi Adi
Gosh how heavy are the hearts of Australians right now. Motor sport in Australia would not be where it is without the contributions of Brocky. This has been a tragic and horrific week for Australians. I pray they are both at peace. I'm finding it really hard to comprehend and digest the losses of two unique and truly humble Australians. I'm numb and have not shed so many tears for a long time. I think there will be a very empty feeling in the pit of our stomachs for quite a while to come. Both Peter and Steve campaigned tirelessly to educate people about the dangers and safety's involved in their professions. Both gave back to the community endlessly through their charities and foundations. How do we get past the loss of these two? I guess we need to make sure that all they worked for is kept going and supported so their tragic passings are not in vain. Things just seem so surreal right now. I don't understand.

It's been a sad week for Australia with the loss of two national icons. Brockie did a lot to raise the profile of racing, but more importantly, he was involved in a lot of safe driving campaigns. He drove with the number "05" (for 0.05 blood alcohol) for many years to discourage drink driving. P platers please take note!
They are thinking about having National Khaki Day on Irwin's anniversary. Maybe they should have National Motor Sport and Road Safety Day or something.
I think I will go to the Bathurst 1000 this year to pay tribute to the King. RIP

So tragic!!! He was a very professional driver and a source of true respect from the Ford and Holden side of the fence. May he rest in peace ---- far from Germain Greer please.
