Education is the reason there are so many , ignorant people or should I say the lack of it!
As for Americans being fat, again it could be the lack of knowledge, as how to eat correctly and to exercise to keep trim.

Let's call this the "self-fufilling property." If I contend that you are an ignorant fat-***, your point is proven. However, I do think that you are ignorant of the fact that most Americans are not fat. Also, we are not ignorant, we are stupid.

After reading Mercedes answer I looked at your questions history Ana, what is your problem exactly? Where is it you come from where people are all thin and smart and your cities smell like roses?
