Realistically, if we had been visited, there would likely be some concrete evidence - a stray cell or 2, an exotic metal or material, or some other tangible evidence other than "eye witness" and fuzzy pictures.
Kinda sux actually - the prospects are intriguing
chances are there is other inhabited planets out there, at least some of which have likely developed the sciences. Problems is that the universe is organized such that communicating by the propogation of radio and similar communications is unlikely, let alone the prospect of meeting face to face given the time and energy needed to travel the vast distances.
Realistically, the best we could hope for is picking up their stray commuication signals from centuries ago.

it is spooky to think but come on look how fast technology came, it took us forever to invent the wheel and now we are linked to the air, yep aliens had something to do with that, I saw the day the earth stood still and I know we are not alone, there are some freaky people out there, we are a mix of everything spacey so take it as you will, I believe in aliens, why not?
