Steve Irwin died in a freak accident on Monday and there have been many uncalled for remarks posted here.
Why must people be so disrespectful when someone who is in the spotlight dies?

I am not sure what you are referring to. There have been many queries about Irwin, but my impression has been that the vast majority have been sympathetic, or from people who wanted to learn what happened. It appears that the man had a great deal of respect, not only in Australia but around the world.

Oh, I don't know...maybe because of the 4,545,724,678,101 "questions" clogging up this site almost a week since he died. That probably has something to do with it.

Either that or some people aren't fans. What's wrong with that?

What happened to all that free speech people are talking about?

I totally agree with you, it saddens me that our society and world are like this. What is the world coming to when people act so rude and un-humanlike. Seriously, I work at a restaurant and everyday I have to deal with rude people. It almost seems like the majority of people are rather rude and feel like you almost owe them something. I smile at them and they look at me in disgust as if I might of well just said something very hateful to them. It makes me sad ! :(

I don't know. His accident was very tragic and unfortunate. He was a great entertainer and lover of animals, not to mention a family man.

Because people think it is funny to be immature. I agree with you. It is very sad, and people need to be more respectful.
