It doesn't really matter. Figure this: you started on what day, month? Now, calculate that into the missed period. A lot of doctors go by the size of the uterus, which isn't always correct. Online doesn't really know. What you have is your body's clock, and that is what's accurate! Go by that. You're pregnant; be happy about that!

go with what the doctor says, or twke the first day of you last period, add 2 weeks and count from there. But at 23 weeks, you'd only be 5 1/2 months

if 40 weeks is full term and you are 23 weeks, 20 weeks being 4 1/2 months, you are just over 5 months pregnant.

The official start of a pregnancy is actually the first day of the last cycle before conception. They don't actually start counting the day you get pregnant but before that. I know it sounds strange. I just learned this recently. I never understood how pregnancy was 10 months...it's not really.

They are estimating your pregnancy (due date) based upon your last menstrual cycle. Unless you know the exact date you conceived, it's a big guessing game! They also try to narrow their estimate based upon the size of the fetus when they take an ultrasound.

Women usually deliver their babies between the 38th and 42nd week of pregnancy. If a woman hasn't delivered by her 42nd week, they will usually induce labor shortly after the 42nd week.

You know... I have 2 kids and it seems like everytime I tried to find that out I get a different answer. I always went by weeks... a lot easier... or I guess-timated.

I'd go with 6,just remember it's 40 weeks, counting months will make you think your farther than you are. ( oh and if your counting the days........don't,babys show up when THEY are ready....... and they don't read callenders)
