I have meet some pretty evil lawyers. I think that people use black and other dark colors to represent evil because of the pure darkness. Evil is supposed to be dark.

I can't speak for/about any lawyers outside of television, but in regards to the other part of your question: the black/white contrast between good and evil goes all the way back to at least the earliest days of the media.
It was decades before newspapers and other print media, let alone the movies and television had color on a regular basis, hence the good guys wore white and the villains wore black.

You might have a hard time convincing more people that lawyers aren't evil, lol. On a serious note though its basically a effect of subconcious learning throughout your lifetime. We first learn that black is the darkest of all colors, we then learn that when it is black we can't see anything, we then connect not seeing anything with the fear of not being able to predict what is happening in our surrounding (and a survival instinct kicks in). It is the same way we learn that the color blue makes us feel cool and at ease while the color red makes us hot and frustrated, while in the actual color temperatures or kelvin temps. blue is one of the hottest of all colors and red is the coolest.

lawyers were black
to look really serios about it
and most suites are made of black right??

evil wear balck or dark color because
black is most often used with a negative connotation

The reasons for this are various, but the most widely accepted explanations are that night is experienced by humans as negative and dangerous

Yes.... Evil is dark and black because of it is the absence of light and decency. And when was the last time anyone met a light and decent lawyer?

never.

Black is the color of night. It is hard to relax around stark black and white. Black is gloomy.
In Feng Shui it relates to money and can be a positive color. You need to be confident to use black. Black and white is a powerful combination that works better in an office environment. Red, orange, yellow and black are yang, green, blue and white are yin. purple can be both. Black and red are the 2 most sensitive colors.
