Eddie Murphy, hands down. Bill Cosby wasn't all that funny IMO, kids say the darndest things was only funny because of the kids, not him.

Eddie Murphy. Bill acts like he is 4 beers short of a six pack. I don't think he has gotten over his son's death. It's still eating at him. I understand though.

Bill Cosby hands down. It is a mark of a true comedian who can be funny intelligently, and not have to rely on vulgarity and profanity to drive the jokes. My favorite era of Mr. Cosby's humor was when I was in my 'tweens and very faithfully every Saturday morning I never missed an episode of "Fat Albert". He did several of the character's voices.

Cosby was good, he didn't need to use insults to be funny. Murphy has been copying Richard Pryor for years and now he is copying Cosby.
