What is the aim behind post mortems? besides to find out the reason of death, what other ain could be?
ia it necessory for a person whom died with natural death?

hey the word psot mortem post is for after and ,mortem relates to the body so its done afgter ur death generally it is done in cases of natural death or suspecion of person died was not natural but due to some other reason wat do they do in post mortem they take out the organs like heart kidney liver and other vital organ chek ofr there normality based on that they give there report if the person has died a unatural death will have changes different from the poeple dying natural death. it is mandatoryt o be done in criminal case investigation if u need additonal detail u can check here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_mortem

A post mortem is there to find the cause of death.
You cant tell if someone died from natural causes without performing a post mortem....

Main reason is to find the cause of death. Also for research into the science of certain causes of death, to expand medical knowledge

its to establish that it was a "natural" death...if someone is "good" at killing(according to history) there are many was a person can "fake" a natural death, a slight puncture, a"discoloration" around the mouth, anything regular people, and some doctors might not notice, a pathologist is trained to recognize
