what kind of chinese are considered pretty or ugly? Is Lucy Liu pretty ??

In asia, there are many pretty actresses and Lucy Liu is considered kind of not pretty by most chinese people, because she looks very usual for normal chinese. there are so many people who looks like her walking around in Asia but they are not considered attractive. Does western culture consider small eyed asian people attractive? In asia, wide eyed with long eye lush and shap nose are considered more attractive than small eyes. So what's so HOT about Lucy Liu, there are so many HOTTER girls every where in Asia. Do people really think she is like soO hot? by the way in America, small eyed asian guys are considered more attractive? or pretty guys like Takeshi Kaneshiro in 'House of Flying Daggers' with zhan zi yi( the younger guy who saved zhan zi yi and escaped together). What kind of asian guy face feature or body shape are considered more attractive here?

Chinese people do like Asian people who have those not so small eyes because it's different and not too many Asian people are like that...I think... I'm not sure because I'm one of the ones with the not so small eyes.

I think in America, people like Asian people in general because they're exotic, not because of how big or small their eyes are.

I honestly don't think that lucy liu is pretty at all. Just average as you said. But the woman on the movie memoirs of a Geshia is really beautiful.... I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.. Oh and for the most part, asian guys are to short for me ;) But still cute, especially the ones with dimples :)

It is more about how a person presents themselves that make them hot or not. Physical beauty if the most obvious thing that one sees, but an empty shell on the inside detracts from that. The attractiveness of Lucy Liu is more about her exotic nature and the attitude of mystery that she potrays.

Lucy Liu is pretty. Asians might not appreciate her more bcoz they got used to seeing small eyes around them. What's gonna get your attention aside from those you dont see often. Am an Asian and I find Lucy pretty gorgeous. Everybody is pretty in different aspects/features.

People think Lucy Liu is attractive because there are barely any famous Asian celebrities in America. A lot of people just assumed that her look was the "It" Asian look. I mean, who else can you really compare her to? Lisa Ling? Bai Ling? Margaret Cho? I think Zhang Zi Yi is really pretty but she only appeared the last few years. However as the Asian movie market in America grows, people will be exposed to other non-stereotypical looks of Chinese women. So who knows, their views can change. (I sure hope it does though. I'm tired of people asking me how come I don't look typical Chinese since I don't have small eyes and I'm not as pale as a ghost. ugh!)

As for Asian guys, I just can't stand it if they have bad teeth...and a bunch of them have BAAAAAADDDDDD teeth.
