Having sex with a good friend SHOULD be great -- you have trust and are able to communicate with one another. Do you want someone else sexually or are not just not feeling sexual or not wanting your boyfriend? Think of what you consider sexually exciting. Is this something you can act out with your boyfriend? Use your fantasies. Play with toys. Getting through this issue together will just make your relationship better. You may want to consult a doctor (hormones and medical conditions can affect your sex drive) and if there is nothing wrong with you physically, then you may want to seek counseling. If you and your boyfriend really have been friends for years and you say he is the most wonderful guy you've ever met, then HAVE GREAT SEX AND HAVE FUN!!! Good Luck!

listen. you know the answer. move on. keep your best friend - get your own place and go get laid by a tall dark new handsome guy you are attracted to. he is your best friend. don't use him "once in a while" when you should be out meeting your potential partner somewhere else. it sounds like you took aedvantage of your "best friend" by exploring the sex thing with him. and now because the sex was not good - you want to have your cake and eat it too by pushing him back to friend status. you are cruel and that will come back to bite ya girl.

do you want any guy sexually? once in a while? maybe your frigid or just not that interested in sex? I'm thinking you should just keep letting him hit it, I'm sure he appreciates it and you obviously like him so what's the harm? maybe you're just used to being friends and it's hard to see him as your boyfriend now. give it time, it'll probablychange. friends make the best lovers.

What is more important to you a good sex life or having a mate that you get along with so well that you consider him to be your best friend?

Many women would be very grateful for a good man that shared their interests. If sex is more important to you, then tell him you want to be just friends, and find someone else.

You should tell him that you feel that you two should just be friends because you're not attracted to him sexually.

The only difference between a friend and a boyfriend/girlfriend is that you have to be sexually attracted to the latter. If you're not, you're just friends.

just play it out and let what happens happen. stay friends, and if the relationship changes, then OK, if it doesn't, then you still are hanging out and living with your best friend, what is the problem
