I know I am! I wish I had a good friendship with someone..Its hard nowadays to find someone who will be there for you and not be jealous or lie to you..I wish I could meet a new person and get to know them. I really would like a female friend someone I could talk too and be there for. I don't really can't about distance..I guess I am saying all of this becaue I believe oneday God will bless me with a "true friend".. Is there anyone out there who thinks and feels the same way??

OMG! I think you read my mind hun. I've had two really close girl friends in my life. One of them I grew up with but when we graduated from high school, she moved about an hour away and she changed alot. We've gone in different directions in life. She's 21, has a loser boyfriend and is pregnant with twins. We're just not close at all anymore. My best friend now is my boyfriend and sometimes I just wish I hang a great friend that I could just leave the house with and hang out with sometimes. We all need time away from our husbands and boyfriends and we all need someone to talk to about stuff. A true friend is hard to come by these days.

hie there.. im 21 n have the same exact problem. i have been looking for a "true friend" ever since i was in primary school unfortunately being girls, they tend to talk behind ur back no matter how close they r. n me on the other hand being so naive, defended them every time there's bad rumors going around. i have only a few close friends that can be considered s "true friend". i mean there are only a few that u can trust n u know that person will back u up no matter what. n i am grateful that i at least have these girls. no matter where u r, in States, Malaysia, Australia even in India i think sum girls will have the same question too. Just be nice to people. i will always say "let others do to u,not u do to them" cuz s long s ur nice,one day God will bless u with friends just like u..!or u can have a long distance fren like i did wen i was younger. have pen-pals(now email or messenger pals.. ;p) like us who responded ur question! ;) take care there...

First off I am 22! I feel how you feel about true friendship. Its really hard to find a friend that will be honest and there for you when you need them. True friends are rare and hard to find. But when you find one hold on tight and dont let go of them! Your in my prayers that God will one day soon bless you with a true friend.

Most folks will tell you a true Friend is very rare.
In fact if you can count move than three people you can call in the dead of night and ask to bail you out of jail (that are not related to you ) you will be very lucky indeed.

I defiantly feel the same way. I'm 23 and my best friend moved away at the beginning of the summer and I've been in a slump since. I know a lot of guys but there's just things you can't talk about with guys, unless they're gay. You should e-mail me!

Everybody wants that 1 special friend and you are right, its almost impossible to find somebody who isnt jealous for some reason, or who will lie to you. I have actually found a good friend online who was having same issues, in a chat room and I hate chat rooms but we have been friends for almost a year now and its great. I have tried myspace, dont like it..too many restrictions. Try Yahoo 360 or LostCherry. LostCherry works like myspace but with less restrictions. I luv that one. Yes i know what you mean...it's really hard to trust people these days... you would think that at 21... everyone would get old enough to act mature.. but i guess not... just keep friends that u already have... thats the best way to go...
