You probably just have to wait. Aloe can help it to feel better for now. You can also take a painkiller like Tylenol or ibuprofen. And hopefully you've learned your lesson to wear sunscreen next time.

I've found that if you slather Vaseline on a sunburn overnight that it keeps it from peeling too badly later. But you have to do it when the burn is fresh (so a few days later won't do much difference). As for the discomfort, aloe...lots of aloe.

Have had you had the pony for a lengthy time period and has he had the sunburn contained in the previous? or did he basically initiate to get it those days?? wish you'll discover something that could actually help him. enable us know. I have dealt with horses for decades and the first undesirable sunburn face horse I said replaced into one which I had in for practise and shoeing this replaced into round 30 years in the past and contained in the perfect 15 or so years I have considered many, a lot of them, I wounder even if that's something contained in the air or the feeds or what's contained in the feeds because we did no longer have various them contained in the previous. My daughter offered a actual properly bred filly this 365 days and replaced into at my homestead for 3 days after I said she replaced into sunburning I requested her the position she replaced into even as she offered her. "In a barn" I knew she were contained in the barn to get waiting to promote. I had to make a mask for her basically over her halter to conceal her blaze. even as i might want to placed SS on her it would want to easily run off and did no sturdy in any respect. i lately replaced into requested to bypass see a horse for some persons and experience her for them. She replaced into specially white, and had such scars on both shoulders from sunburn that the hair replaced into basically starting to be in clumps. i will not purchase any more desirable horses with various white on them. I have a pal who had a cremellow he had to shop her in a barn contained in the day and out at nighttime.

If you can find the unscented aloe gel (banana boat for example) that is the best. Apply several times a day. This should help prevent peeling and let it transition to a normal tan.

Pure aloe vera gel....works perfect. Just put it on real thick before you go to bed, you will feel much better in the morning when you wake up. Keep putting it on it will heal about 2 days.
