The sun will rise and set, indomitably!

And when there is no Internet, people would have more time reading those collected paperbacks gathering dust, cleaning the closet and ridding of those clothes that online connections empowered one to procrastinate, talk more to people closing to home and the neighborhood instead of other people across the world, and a lot more.

Yet: We will find a resurgence in snailmail with people lining up to have their letters stamped and dropped in the drop-boxes, a greater number of people grumbling about documents being physically delivered instead of being attached to emails, a greater number of people using their cellular phones more to send SMS or even call at greater charge rates, deliveries being delayed due to longer time factoring for production specifications arrival, and so on and so forth.

But: There will be a rejuvenation of messenger and courier services, higher and heavier traffic volume due to people needing to move about, more postmen to be chased and bitten by dogs, and more.

In short: life won't be the same... and I wouldn't be able to answer your future questions online! That would be the saddest part, neh?

The Internet can't crash. It's not centrally controlled, so you would have to destroy every single Internet node in the world to completely crash it.
