no way. On a regular 28 day cycle, ovulation takes place around the 14th day. Sperm can survive about 5 days. The egg can live 2 days So you can get pregnant roughtly from the 9th day (after the 1st of your period) to the 16th. In some cases (young, healthy man) the sperm can live a couple days longer so you could get pregnant having had sex from as early as the 7th or 8th day.

But on the last day of the period, no way.

but still, if you are not in a situation to have a child, then do a test just to be sure.

and next time, why not use a condom, by the way? ;-)

It's funny I just answered this question for someone else yesterday. You can't get pregnant while you are your period. However if you ovulate right after your period, sperm can survive up to 7 days. Every woman ovulates at different times of the month. But it is most common, and most doctors will tell you that your ovulation time is 14 days from the day you started your period. In fact, having sex right after your period or during is the safest way to not get pregnant. Assuming that your cycle works that way. As I said, some women can ovulate right before or right after their period although it is rare. You can only get pregnant 3 days out of the month, well let me rephrase that. You are most fertile the first day of your ovulation cycle which lasts for three days. You cannot get pregnant when you are on your period, because the point of a period is to flush out the unfertilized egg, there will be no egg to fertilize until your next ovulation. Some women can tell when they ovulate. I can. The biggest reason why you ovulate in the middle, two weeks after you start your period and around two weeks before you start your next one. Your body is resting from your period, it does require energy to flush all that out. Women are usually pretty tired during their period right, some eat more, this is to keep the energy up while you are bleeding. When you ovulate, your body gives you time to become pregnant, the egg will sit there, and your body will prepare for a baby to form. It will take your body a little while to figure out that there is no baby to support and then flush it all out again. Hence the cycle.

It's only possible if you are ovulating at the time. Ovulation usually occurs though at around day 10-17 of your cycle--with day 1 being the first day of spotting/bleeding. If you have pretty normal 28 day cycles, I doubt it. I have 28 day cycles and always ovulate around day 12. I know this becuase i am going through AI right now. And sperm can live in your body for up to 72 hours. Only one way to know though---see if your period comes at its normal time next month. If not, take a pregnancy test.

Good luck!

Yes. You can still get pregnant, however your chances aren't as high as they would be at other times of the month. It sounds like you don't want to get pregnant at this time, and to tell you the truth I don't think you are. It happens to everybody, and you just think about it so much that you really start to wonder if you are pregnant, and your next period doesn't come soon enough!

Are you having your period regularly? If yes, there is very less risk. If not, there is a very big risk of getting pregnant even during your period.

It's rare, but it is possible. Depends on your ovulation. Like my doctor once told me, "to have sex...means the chances of getting pregnant is very high."

No. It is impossible. It will take time for the body ( ovulate) to release an egg that will reach the uterus. By then the sperm would have already died. I do advice you to use dush to clean out you vaginal passage.

yup, you can. and when you are not on your period. it's not likely that you are, but it is possible. you can get the morning after pill, but it would be much easier to go to planned parenthood and get some birth control and USE IT.
