Well we thankfully see our kids each and every day, even as teenagers! We have brought them up with a solid foundation based on love and all of that goodness. I am very grateful that I was a stay at home Mom, until just this past month and our "kids" are 18 years old, 16 and 14!!! AMEN! I see why though many parents don't get to see their kids a lot, or know their kids. It saddens me, truly breaks my heart. For most really, from what I see and hear, it is a matter of survival in this crazy world, living not even paycheck to paycheck to get by, to as I said survive. My heart goes out to these parents! For those who make the choices to have a nanny raise their kids, and really could be home, certainly am not here to judge anybody but that type of a relationship will not be good nor healthy for the children, in their lives. I see it all the time! Why do you think there are so many kids out there who don't know their Mom or Dad? It's a really good question, and shows what is happening in the year 2006. I know we sacrificed a lot by me not working outside of the home while our kids were growing up but there is nothing like seeing these young adults becoming adults now and what good people! No money in the world, no material possession can replace that, to me that is not God's work when you go to work to earn the money for the BMW or anything else. Just my opinion and many I am sure would beg to differ. That's what this life, is all about!

I tucked them into to bed tonight, I kissed and hugged them and said I love them. I have always told my ex that he gave up too easily. I have my kids, thankfully. I get to wake up with them everyday. But if I had to walk through hell and face the devil himself everyday to see them, I would. Nothing in this world would stop me from seeing them everyday.

Woderful answer, I dont know how a parent could live without seing their kids, those poor children.

Kiss my 18 year old son goodnight every night. When I turn in before him, he comes in my room before he goes to bed and plant a kiss on my forehead.

His father has missed out on a lot. However, I do thank him for the child support checks received twice monthly.
