I was thinking about buying a Corvette. Aside from the obvious reasons, I have also heard that having a nice car can attract girls. Is this true?

As the song "Boys & Girls" by Good Charlotte says, "girls don't like boys. Girls like cars and money"
Alittle bit of a sterio-type I know but I've found it to be realistic.
As accepted in past studies on basic human nature. Women will (usually subconciously) be attracted to a man that they believe would be a good provider.
(ie: nice car and clothes = financial security).

No. If I saw a guy driving a nice car, but he was ugly, and his personality sucked.. I could care less. Also, I think Corvettes are really 80s. Also, a guy who buys a nice car for the sole purpose of finding ladies.. douche bag. Buy a nice car for your own reasons. Get a woman by being a nice guy.

Maybe a nice car doesn't attract girls. But a crappy one will loose a girl's interest. Keep it clean and take care of it-- whatever it is. Cars do tend to stigmatize most people -- for the good or the bad!

If you need to spend that much money on a car to attract women, then you might consider what it is about you that the women normally do not like.
Buy a car because you like the car, not to impress others!!

You will probably attract the wrong kind of women. She would be as shallow as you are and would marry you, divorce you and take the Corvette.
