Women can potray / play a role of super- heroes as well as Man. The only time you get to see them play big roles is in movies like Elektra, Kill Bill, Catwoman. I mean one that a woman can play a Super- Woman.
After all everyone knows that we are the greatest Super- Wives, Super- Mom and Super- Bosses!

I have been thinking about this since I was a little girl. Women can very well play a heroic role just as good as any man. Although there are movies with comic book superheroines such as ELEKTRA, SUPERGIRL, and CATWOMAN, but there should be movies about WONDER WOMAN, BATGIRL, SPIDER-WOMAN, SPIDER-GIRL, and many others. Besides, every little girl and grown woman needs a FEMALE role model to look up to.

The fact there is NO Batwoman,Spiderwoman or Superwoman might have something to do with it!!!!! There WAS a Supergirl movie as well as Catwoman and a Wonderwoman TV series.

Because those weren't Superheroes. There is a Wonder Woman and a Cat Woman. Look at the X-Men, they have Storm.

Bat-Girl, Super-Girl, and Spider-Woman all suck. But a Wonder Woman movie is in the works, I beleive.

Because we, as women dont need constant assurances of our sexuality. Most men have homosexual feelings that they deny, and to allevieate these they need to watch powerful men in tights.
Men know that women are stronger and better, If men had to bear children the world would be unpopulated, thats why they have always tried to keep us down. They need constant ego stroking to even think they are worthy of our love. Thats why they write only male strong superheroes. They need someone strong to look up to, whereas we as women, dont, we only look inside our hearts and see strongness.

calm down there is a movie in the making called Wonder Woman
and they have other movies out and back in the mid 80s they came out with super-girl...they are out there and more coming

they are supposively making wonder woman and they made supergirl in the 80s starring helen slater..batgirl was featured in the batman series and in one of the movies

in 1 of the batman movies i thought there was a batwoman and there is a comic about spiderwoman... its spidermans daughter...
and i saw a carton that had batwoman and superwoman not too long ago
