My husband hinted about letting(ha, letting) me get another and I have always wanted one on my back above my bottom. Maybe one of those butterflies or scroll designs. Also I was tossing around he idea of a fine chain around my waist or flowery vine(small).

Well I have been getting tattoos for a while...before they became super popular. The place you are referring to on your body most call a tramp stamp ... so anyways are you only going to get a tattoo if they are still hot? Would it make a difference if the majority of the people here said no?

I would say go with the lower back, keep in mind that you must keep in shape with this area as age will take the appeal away .
The chain around the waist is a bit much and will be itching to have it remove, I say go with the lower back thats a very nice.... area.

Tats were never hot. Think of yourself as an 80 yr old granny with tats in your wrinkles. Just gives the police another way to identify you.

Tattoos are hot as long as they have some kind of meaning...the whole "just for the hell of it" or "I'm getting this done because it's cool now" are not hot at all.

Don't get a tattoo because you (or anybody else) thinks they're hot. Get one because it's meaningful to you.
