Every morning he comes home from his smoky bar, and though I've asked him before to wash his hands and face with soap before coming to bed (as I feel the bed is a clean place) he never does, so I get to feel all the dirty vibes from his bar! Am I being too anal?

NO you are not! Girl if you want a clean bed tell that man! Do what I do....take a shower with him. Make it kind of fun.

No, I don't think you are being anal. If someone told me I smelled I wouldn't just wash my hands and face. I'd take shower and change clothes. But that is just me. Maybe you could make a habit of showering together and then getting into bed. You know make it more of a fun thing than a chore.

Not at all, a shower is the least he can have before coming to bed. And why is he coming home in the MORNING from his smoky bar? I just hope its coz he is working there, not drinking!

Teh best way to get hi to wash is to tel him suggestively that you like him sweet smelling becaise that puts you in the mood. Hes sure to do what he has to do to make you want him

As a person that runs her life on olfactory feel-good nerves, i.e. someone that is very sensative to smells, I have to constantly remind my boyfriend to wash his cigarette hands before he touches me and he never does! They're MEN. I think they like to stink. How about you put a pad lock on the bedroom door and make him sleep on the couch till he gets the hint? Seriously, the only way to make him learn is to treat him like a dog and rub his nose in it. Face it, it's gross and disrespectful to you. He should be appreciative you've put up with his crap this long. Good luck, honey.

Smokey bar smell sounds gross to me, maybe buy some manly scented body wash and tell him that the scent gets you going and ask him to wash his face and hands with it. Bribe him with sex, that always works.

Reject cuddling, sex or anything else.
Tell him how you love when he smells so good.
Does he go to bar often, maybe you should be worrying about something else?

If you were not shacked up together you wouldn't have this problem. (He would be going home to sleep with his own stinky self and you would be in your nice clean bed) He has no respect for you and is showing it. I bet there are lots of other things he does too.

you r so right my b/f builds houses in the heat all day comes home with saw dust and sweat all over him and i just tell him hunny i love you but baby u smell he luaghs and takes a shower
