No, theres no way that he would do that, he is perfect for the role. The new one that they got totally sucks, maybe clive will take that lead later on down the road, hopefully it wont be to late.

I had never heard of him being offered the role but when Pierce Brosnan was still 007 I thought that Clive Owen would have been the PERFECT successor!

I think at this point, accepting the Bond character is a pointless detour for a name actor.
After that, where could you go?
Bond has made the names of some actors, but it would be a bad career choice for someone like Owen to accept it.
