You can retrieve a deleted file using any data recovery tool like 'System Mechanic' 'Stellar Phoenix' etc.
But its almost impossible to recover a file that has been overwritten by another file.

The computer only deletes the names and marks the area as free and the subsequent writing of new files will overwrite on the deleted file hence you can retrieve a file that was deleted if it has not been overwritten. Use Norton utilities (unerase) and this will retrive you file if it is available.

Well if you deleted it, and its not in the recycling bin, its pretty much gone. Sorry.
