Bill is driving his Dodge along a country road and all of a sudden his car has a breakdown. He coast to the side of the road, gets out and surveys the problem. He figures he can't fix the car so he calls his friend George on the cell phone. George says he will be right there, gets in his Pontiac and drives to where Bill is. George looks the problem over, goes to his trunk, gets out a tow rope and has Bill tow his (George) Pontiac back with his (Bill) Dodge.

They were going downhill, the car with good brakes and that's running has to be in the back, cause Bill's brakes were bad.

First off, how could Bill tow his Pontiac back with his Dodge, when Bill had the broken down Dodge in the first place? Your question makes no sense.

Lost his brakes, but still has power, Pulls the Pontiac and the Pontiac is the brake.
Been there, rode the pony, got my eight, got my buckle. Don't need to do it again.
