I'd be out of there at the first sign of it being haunted. On our first night in our new place we had to sleep downstairs because we hadn't got our bed yet, and we heard noises in the garage. I had my purse and was ready to leave right then, but we figured out it was the water heater.

I have lived in 2 houses and found out after I moved in that they were haunted. All you have to do is bless the house and ask the spirits to move on towards the light.

It would depend on if the spirits were harmful or not. I have an office in a building that was built in 1852 and it is haunted by the sounds of children playing. I actually enjoy my late night hours there.

I would prefer not to by all costs, but have stayed repeatedly in a mildly haunted house.

I wouldn't stay, no. Because if I started believing in haunted houses I'd have to go commit myself to a mental hospital.

I bought my home in a very historical part of Denver, as a matter of fact I can see Molly Browns home from my window.

My home was built around the turn of the century. The crafsmanship is like none you will ever find in the new homes, thats what attracted me to it.

The first night I slept here my cats were sitting in the front room by the fireplace and they were all watching something. I looked where they were looking, yet I saw nothing. This went on and still goes on day and night from time to time.

A few days after I had moved in I was sitting on the couch about 10 at night and I caught something out of the corner of my eye, yet when I turned to see what it was, nothing was there. I wrote it off as a new house, maybe car lights hitting something and reflecting off...never thought ...Ghost Alert. I happens in here all of the time, as a matter of fact it JUST happened thats what made me think of it.

I will go to bed and wake up with a light on someplace in the house, it is almost always the kitchen light.

Then the "ghost rings" started. My phone will ring, the caller ID reads "Data not sent" and no one is on the other end of one of these calls, but it is a call because when I pick it up, there is never a dial tone. The phone company has reran the lines from the pole to the "D" box and then rewired the house, it kept on, dialing *69 produces "The last party that called can not be reached by this means." I also replaced all of my phones, yet I get 4-10 calls a week, sometimes in 1 day.

I will also hit 'cold spots" in my home. Those are also found in the kitchen or in the back of the formal dinning room next to the kitchen.

8 Weeks ago last night I fell a sleep on the couch, as I tend to do often at this home. I was in a deep hard sleep and I heard someone call me. I knew no one was in the house so I thought I was dreaming it and I fell back a sleep. I do not know how much longer I slept but I heard someone call my name again. This time when I woke up the light in my bathroom was on. I honestly did not remember leaving it on. I went in to turn it off and on the floor of the bathroom was a newborn kitten still in the sack. I took care of it and then walked around and found where my kitty had 5 other ones, all in different places, all still in the sacks. The momma kitty simply did not know what to do. I cleaned them all up and put them in a box with her and they are all fine today. If I would not have been awaken, the outcome would have been very sad.

Then a few days ago I was standing in the kitchen at the sink peeling an apple thinking about my mother that passed away last year, and I started to cry. These 2 hummingbirds came to the window and just stayed there for a very long time. I have never seen any hummingbirds here before that or since. I even went out and got 4 feeders and hung them 2 by that window and 2 on the porch, I have never seen another one.

I spoke to a neighbor who has lived next to this house for 30 years and she told me that a man did die in here a few years ago. The details of that are to graphic to post, but trust me, he went in a horriable way. She also told me that while the home sat empty after his death she would see lights on and off and she knew no one was in here, she had even called the police to check it out.

After that she said that the home has had about 5 different families in it, none staying longer than a year or so. She said that one family only lived here for about 7 months.

Haunted? Ghost? Spirit? I do not know. I have been to www.ghoststudy.com and read up on things like this, maybe you can do the same.

I have no plans to move, I deal with worse than a voice waking me up to save little kittens on a daily basis. BUT I will tell you this much, if the house is really haunted and this is not just freak things that keep going on, the first time he changes my radio station or drinks my last bottled water, hes out of here.

that depends on if the ghosts were mean or not. my aunt lived in a house that was haunted by the elderly man that lived there before. he mainly liked to tug on toes when you were sleeping

Well, if I had dumped all of my money in the house and had no other place to go, then I guess the ghosts and me would have to do battle. I'd have to call a priest or somebody.

actually, I'd know by walking into it that it's haunted, and would't buy it in the first place.
But for the sake of the question...
Ghosts are just demons, bunch of cowards to be honest. But as one who belongs to Christ, I don't fear them...they really can't do much to me anyway, and you get used to dealing with them ...so yeah, If I owned a place that turned out to be haunted, I'd cast them out, pray, and prevent them from coming back.
