Most people in the U.K know that Blair and Bush are using SCARE tactics and FEAR mongering to gain support. The British pointed out that whenever Blair's approval rating went down then just like clock work the terror alarms went off in England.

Now that Bush and the Republicans are doing the same before election time, are we as Americans going to think that this is getting old? Is America seeing that it's a scam?

If you look at Bush's approval ratings you'll notice that when they start to hit rock bottom, we start to see false terror alerts and scare tactics. Look at Bush's rock bottom polls and do some research. You'll notice when they get really low you'll find out shortly after Al-Qaeda releases a tape, or the terror threat level increases. http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

ATTENTION: This is an important message from President Bush. BOO!!

I don't know, but the British believe that if the next P.M is friendly towards Bush then not much will change.

What they taught me in school was that Bush's daddy armed, trained, financed Bin Laden in the 80's.

And if Bin Laden is another Hitler then maybe the Bush family should have not gone into an investment with his family (carlyle group).

So he's another hitler who has been armed and trained under the first Bush, and his family has done business with the Bush's.

I can tell your not a republican stratagist.

So how do you know the next Labour Party leader won't have many of the same policies as Blair?

It's much easier to keep people under control if you point to an enemy and say "be afraid." Bush is not the first to use it. Blair isn't the first. In the 20th century Hitler used it with the Jews as the enemy they should be afraid of. Churchhill told the British they should be afraid of Germans. Roosevelt told Americans to be afraid of the Japanese and the Germans.

It's been used in other centuries and in fiction. Look at the science fiction mini-series V. In that, the aliens told people scientists were dangerous. In Babylon 5, all alien influences were suspect and a state of martial law was actually declared. In Bradbury's "Farenheit 451" books were the culprit. In Lucas's THX 1138, people who didn't take their drugs like good citizens and began questioning their lives were the danger. In Atwood's "The Handmaiden's Tale", pollution and sterility and immorality were the villains. Women were disenfrancised and made dependent on men as a step toward government getting complete control. Tom Clancy has also covered the whole fear-hate used to keep control.

NONE of this is new to people who read or write books. What's more, it's not new to the Muslim world. We are being told to fear terrorists. The terrorists have been told to fear the western nations. Our governments are actually feeding the cycle of fear by responding with troops. This creates new terrorists for us to fear.

As for your question, yes, all events are well timed. I fully expect a major terrorism scare right before our next election. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an actual attack just before the next presidential election. It is no coincidence that the Patriot Act was already written and ready to be presented to Congress before 9-11. They were prepared.

I sense this. If Blair goes; can Bush be far behind. I think that both will live and die by the scare tactics.

What I find amazing from people like you is that you are too ignorant to realize that we are fighting another Adolf Hitler.

I would think that they have taught you enough in school about the blitzkrieg? You know, the German bombings? Well, what is different? They bombed your subways?

You are one that is only concerned with the politics around it and not the real threat!
