Yes, me. 2 Years ago, I was racked with 8 Felonies & 3 Misdemeanors. Drug Charges. I got treatment and probation. Today, I'm a college student with a 3.5 GPA, working on an Engineering Degree.

I have a felony and yes you can turn your life around. I started my own business a few years ago and I am now getting ready to expand it into 3 other states. It is harder on a felon to succeed because of those who chose not to rehabilitate but it's not impossible..

Yes, many. Most of my friends are felons. Almost all of my friends are recovering addicts and alcoholics. Good jobs, good lives. Good wives. Good husband. My S/O of two years is a felon. Under the influence he was a monster. He is a sweet, wondeful, caring man in recovery. Has a great job. Being a felon doesn't not have to define WHO you are. It's how you live each day, now that counts. The past is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Made today count. Good Luck. God Bless.

Life does not turn around. Life is a path. All that I have done and not done in my past has brought me to where I am at now. Being where I am now and those that benefit from my true empathy and compassion, I do not regret my past in the least.

although he died, i had a friend who was a real bad as*! always in and out of jail. he finally decided to straighten out his life. he got rid of all of his friends that he knew were bad influences. he stopped drinking and smoking marijuana (he loved his weed!), he went back to do some english and math courses (he had dropped out in the ninth grade cause he was always in and out of jail!) and he got a job in construction. he even bought a car! unfortunately, he died in a fatal car crash (the same car he had purchased three months earlier with the money from his new job). the change was short lived but he had the mind set and the drive to make great changes for himself after being locked up. it was inspiring to see. it taught me that if you really want it, you can do it!

I know one.
Released back in 1988, my friend went to school, got married, began teaching Bible Studies in his home, and now pastors a church in a Southern State.
