Hi! I've tried to find the most beautiful sweet-perfumed pink roses for you to chose from.

A new rose called "Aromatherapy" is said to be the most fragrant hybrid tea rose in 20 yrs. It has perfect intense pink 4"-5" blooms.

A lavender-pink rose with a strong damask perfume is "Memorial Day" "Just one bloom fills the room." It's resistant to summer heat.

Check out the pink floribunda "Our Lady of Guadalupe" & read what other's are sayng about roses in California:

My favorite is "Double Delight," which has a spicy-sweet scent that can be noticed ten feet away. This classic has huge 5'-6' blooms & is bicolored: pink to yellow with red blush.

i bought a lot of roses from the Edmunds Co. The "Barbra Streisand rose has a wonderful fragrance & is hardy! It is almost lavendar-pink. Look in rose book for info. on roses. They'll tell you what works best in your area. Sunset Western
Garden Book has been my "bible" since I moved to your area. Good luck!

The old-fashioned roses have the sweetest scents. Many are pink, some are disease-resistant. I live in Maine so I can't advise what to select in CA. Talk to your local nurseries. There may even be one that specializes in roses who can guide you.

I have a rose garden and I also work in a garden center where we sell roses and i must say the Double Delight is my favorite! it has a great scent and mine has bloomed so many times this summer. Ive also had very little problems with this one as far as diseases go.
Jackson Perkins has disease resistant plants but mine is just little cheapies from Kmart/walmart/Lowe's etc.

Sweet Surrender is a good long bloomer.
First Prize is a classic pink blend. Little fragrance though.
