As mentioned in the above link, this uproar seems a bit out of step for the party of Michael Moore. It isn't like these high-powered politicians won't have the opportunity to argue their point on any of 100 24hour news channels, not to mention network!

What a load...and I am not talking about "the little black dress".

It is even more ironic after they screamed censorship when some people objected to a movie about the Reagans and the movie was sold to cable.

It is ironic and disgusting.

This from a party that applauds the movie of the assassination of a sitting President. They are sick and twisted.

I like thin, pretty chicks in short little black dresses...

It's not at all ironic, in fact it's expected. "Liberals" have always tried to censor speech they don't like. "Conservatives" admittedly do the same, but I sense liberals trying to do it through our institutions.

For example, there was the "fairness in broadcasting" thingy in the 90s (it's recently reared its ugly head again), where "liberals" wanted the FCC to regulate the content of talk radio shows, hoping to get a regulation that required talk show hosts to always provide an opposing viewpoint for "balance." This action was clearly aimed at Limbaugh (as well as other "conservative" hosts, but Rush was the main target), hence it was termed the "Hush Rush" or "Flush Rush" campaign.

Happily, something like that would never pass constitutional muster. We should ALL be thankful for that, no matter which side of politics you are on. Free speech is basically sacred in America.

Love, Jack.

I think that the Democrats practice what they preach only when it is convenient. Otherwise hypocrisy reigns supreme.

Isn't it ironic how many rich celebrities are Democrats and yet they pay big bucks to accountants and tax attorney's to get out of paying taxes that support all the liberal welfare programs and wealth redistribution programs the Government has. If a rich Democrat wants me to believe what he/she says about wealth redistribution, I want to see that Democrat hand out his/her wealth to people in the inner city and then move out of their mansion into the Ghetto. Won't happen because they only care enough about other people to donate a song at a fund raiser or a few paltry thousands of dollars to a pet cause.

The only way I liked Michael Moore was how he was portrayed in the movie "Team America - World Police!"

That being said, what's bad for "Mad dog" Moore has GOT to be good for America! Don't you know that ONLY liberals are allowed to have freedom of speech; at least according to them!!

........"No, it was mayonnaise this time."

You forget. 9/11 was all about them. I can't help but think about Warner Bros. "Pinky and the Brain" ever time I look toward D.C.

You have to understand, Clinton is a god to liberals. Anything even hinting at being negative towards him is considered blasphemy.

Now, if it was a 'documentary' on assassinating President Bush, that would be considered 'educational'.

Does it make you feel good to be a Groupie, while you sit there alone ... desperately trying to get your 15 minutes of fame? Speaking out for people who don't care about you ... other than for your voice to be in their choir of propaganda?
