Depends on what the feeder fish is.

If it is feeder goldfish, then NO. Goldfish excrete too much ammonia for tropical fish such as mollies to handle. Goldfish also get large enough to eat mollies and they have different dietary needs.

If it is feeder minnows such as rosy reds, then no. I had a rosy red minnow in my community tank and he was mean. He got 4 inches and bullied everyone around. I wouldnt risk it.

If they are feeder guppies then yes. Guppies also like salt in the water like the mollies do.

That being said feeder fish are often overcrowded and diseased in petstores and it would not be wise putting them in with your fish.

Feeder fish are never treated for illness or disease by the breeders, so they may contain parasites. Other than that, it depends on the water temperature mainly. Feeder guppies have the same temperature rating as mollies, but feeder goldfish do not. I never recommend mixing the two to any of my customers.

Yes. Mollies are typically good community fish. Mollies are, in most cases, not large enough to eat feeders. If the feeders are very small, a mollie could get it lodged in its throat (causing death). If the mollies are your pets, I would first carefully judge where the feeders came from- feeders are a good way to spread disease if one is not carefull.

You sure can! mollies will get along fine with feeder guppies. No matter how small the feeders are, mollies are vegetarians so they shouldn't bother the smallest of feeders.

I don't see why not.

Mollies are pretty easy going and feeder fish usually some sort of community fish, as well.

Only thing you need to worry about is disease. Assuming your talking about feeders from a pet store, where they're really not cared for as well-because they're food. If you can, quarantine them first in a seperate tank for at least a week.

not exactly sure what a feeder fish is, but if it is those black color sucking fish that like to stay on the bottom, then yes, u can mix both.

Yes, they should be alright. Watch them, though, I put about 20 feeder guppies in with my 3in goldfish, and they ate more than half of them!! (I'm still mad about that!) LOL If they can't fit in their mouth, there shouldn't be a problem.
