While I agree Batch did a great Job in bringing the team back and recovering from the fumble.........I would have to say that MVP of the game should be.....

Joey Porter.......He stepped up to make that all important play that could of made or broke the game.........that interception clenched the game for us and ensured the win.

Hines Ward did really good too, don't get me wrong........but when it came down to the wire Porter stepped up and like I said made the big play that won us the game in my opinion.

I think it has to go to Batch. For him to have been beaten up as badly as he was in Detroit, to go to Pittsburgh and go 3-0 as a backup to Big Ben ... that's very impressive.
And it's not like he put up scathing numbers. He didn't need to. All he needed was to manage the game, be efficient and put the ball where it needed to be. And that's exactly what he did.
When your backup QB is that dialed-in and that relaxed, guys like Ward, Parker, and even Porter on the D will benefit.

To me this is an easy call.

Batch. Joey had 2-1/2 Tac, 2 Sacks, and a pick for six. Heinz had a few catches for 53 yds. Batch made good decisions all night, which is all he had to do and 3 TD passes didn't hurt..

of tonights game I would give it to Batch. Even though he was the back up he made good plays when they were needed, and didn't force the issue like some back up QB's would.

Charlie Batch, for stepping it up when he knew he needed to. Awesome performance.

Definitely Heath Miller. How many other players can clearly be out of bounds and still score a touchdown?
