That's got nothing to do with liberalism, a concept that is obviously totally alien to your pea-sized brain!
I don't defend the terrorists. But I don't piss on The Constitution, either. Big difference!
The red in our Flag stands for the blood shed for our unique way of life. That's not just the blood shed in the past by our military, but the blood of ALL Americans past, present and future, civilian as well as military. The price of a truly open and free society is that out blood will be shed from time to time at the hands of those who cannot accept our way of life. This is sad, but it is a basic fact of life in a free society.
Ben Franklin put it quite succinctly when he said, "They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security." There is NOTHING in the Presidential Oath of Office about protecting Americans from terrorism or anything else for that matter. There damn sure is a very clear requirement to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." That's verbatim from The Constitution, Article II, Section 1. Try reading that august document! It's pretty obvious that our current administration has little understanding of it.
And one more thing: Without liberals, the US would not exist today! We'd be part of Great Britain still, singing God Save the Queen at sporting events, paying £4.00 per gallon for petrol, and double our current taxes. (OK, we'd have some pretty neat pubs and better public transport, but we would NOT be AMERICANS!)

Stop trying to pin the conspiracies of a few nuts on 45% of the nation.
There are very few people who believe that Bush made 9/11 happen. They're crazy. Regardless of their affiliation.
I don't need to eat crow for anything - nor do most liberals.

My contention is that the CIA and others within this house planned and executed 9/11 along with bin laden ... this tape does not address that.
WBrian_28 ...don't call people names who have legitimate questions and concerns about 9/11 ...you need to prove to me how beginner pilots could fly a plane straight into the Pentagon without scraping the ground..and all the while doing 550 mph.

Bush is the one that said he didn't care where Laden was, or if he was ever found.... wasn't concerned with him.
So the real question is, why wouldn't Bush want the guilty party brought to justice? Why is there a "force" looking for him that is LESS that the police in NYC?
