"Fetal movement is actively palpable by.. about 20 weeks' gestation. The movements vary from a faint flutter in the early months to more vigorous movements late in pregnancy". So is mostly 18-20 after the last menstrual period, for first time moms, and for women who has been pregnant more than once, it can be felt as early as 16 weeks

From the books Ive been reading and friends Ive been talking to, I guess its different for everybody. If this is your first pregnancy it may take a little longer to know what you are feeling. Usually you feel movement 18 to 22 weeks. If you real petite you may notice sooner than one that is a little heavier. Im 22 weeks and about average in size and I started to really feel the baby move at about 20weeks. As I get further along in my pregnancy I feel her move more and more! Its so fun & exciting... just waiting for the moment when my hubby can feel her move.

My dr. always told me that anytime between 16 and 22 weeks is normal. I felt movement at 20 weeks with my daughter and I felt my son move for the first time at 15 weeks.

Somewhere between four and five months. It all depends on the woman. I felt movement around four and a half.

I believe that I felt actual movment after like 4 months BUT before that I would often get these little flutters and wonder if that was the baby doing something.
