Ravens have the scariest defense. Everybody is a hitter and they play with swagger and attitude.

Colts have the scariest offense, even without Edge.

the Carolina Panthers will have the best D this year by far !! They are scary because of ole' #90- Julius Pepper. Daunte Culpepper still has nightmares and Michael Vick can't sleep tonight because he has to go against him Sunday.

Offense, Carolina also. Not only do they have Steve Smith but now have a healthy Keyshawn Johnson. Not to mention Drew Carter and Keary Colbert. They also have a pretty good run attack with Deshan Foster and Rookie Deangelo Williams. The Panthers have a stable of about 5 good RB's if someone gets hurt.

I think Ravens have the scariest defense, but can't seem to execute anymore. Bengals has the scariest offense, because they are unpredicatble, and what's more scary than the unknown?

Right now I'd have to say the Steelers on both counts, since they just put away the Dolphins in the opener, with a reserve quarterback no less, and including a big defensive touchdown and late-game sack.

scariest offense = chargers. LT, Gates, McCardell. little known weapons of the backup RB michael turner and 2nd TE brandon manumaleuna. split LT to the outside as a receiving threat, turner in the backfield, KMac on the other side, Gates in the slot, manumaleuna a threat for medium gains down the middle or as a blocker.

scariest defense = pittsburgh. troy polamalu. nuff said.

I am hoping my Giants will have the best defense this year, but it may be Chicago.

Indi has a good offense, but I think Cinci will be best offense this year.
