I dunno about love at first sight but when u meet ur true love (corny as that sounds) u know it. u can feel a kind of recognition that reaches right down to ur soul. its a warmth n glow that surrounds ur heart n makes everything else pale into insignificance. Damn is it wonderful. it can be all encompassing sometimes too; that feeling will permiate every aspect of ur life.U'll find urself walking around with a stupid lopsided grin on ur face n a starry, far away look in ur eyes; and not giving a damn who notices either. Everything in ur being will feel the 'rightness' of being with that person, even if u r still nervous as hell! Good Luck

Believe me when I say what others have said, YOU WILL KNOW! I met my husband online 3 years ago. I thought I was in love other times in my life till I met him. For me it wasn't love at first sight cause he is 15 years older and that bothered me at first. But after we dated a few times, it was like I had known him for years. He was so patient, caring and sweet. He said he knew the minute he saw me, he would marry me. But the way I feel for him, i've never felt before. I think about him 24/7. Even if we fight, I feel so much love for him still, I never did that before. it is wonderful. We have been married one year this month and bought a new house, have a dog and 2 cats and kids are all grown. I love him more than I ever thought possible. So, you will know. There is no mistaking it.

I knew he was it because I've been in love before, but things with him are totally different than anything I've ever experienced. It wasn't love at first sight, but it was love all of a sudden. I had known this guy for months, then one day he was leaning over a table in a certain way, and it hit me that I absolutely adored him. It felt like getting hit by a truck, then escaping without a scratch.

I don't believe that there's only one true love for everyone. I believe we have an infinite number of opportunities to fall in love. But, when I fell in love with my husband, it was pretty automatic. I knew within the first few weeks we were together that I'd like to marry him. We dated a year and a half and have been married 21 years.

falling in love at first sight, might be risky. To be on the safe side, find out as much as you can, in a friendly way who this guy really is.

Take Care.

I knew in that moment that anything and everything in my thoughts and actions should be to make their life better. Even if it meant my not being with them. Love is the strength to know what's best for the one you love, without infatuation, without jealousy, without judgement, with kindness, and caring, and the freedom to explore love's beauty. The hardest thing about true love is accepting that it means letting go if necessary. When it's totally about the other person, that's love.
