You should always be friends first.

Absolutely! A deep and abiding love can develop much more readily when you become friends first. Take it from one who knows. My husband and I were friends before we married almost 30 years ago. This is true for my parents as well, and they have been married for over 67 years.
I might add that other good relationships, which last through many years, also begin with friendship. I have friends whom I've known for over 35 years and we are still very close, not only in relationship, but also in proximity.

Sometimes it can be. but sometimes you mess up a good friendship trying to pursue a relationship based on lust. it sometimes intrigues us because we know so much about the other person we want to know what its really like and then when it happens its nothing how it seemed. but the strongest relationships start with a great friendship because you feel complete. someone i can talk to and be intimate with. its great when its that way. good luck & God bless!!
