Front seats are 4 bolts a piece. Easy to do. The back seats aren't that bad, either, just a little trickier to get to. Great car, do it to it.

on the front, just follow the bolts. I can't be 100% sure about the firebird but but on my 88 IROCZ the rear seats have a pull bar in the middle and pop right out(the bottom anyway) and under the passenger side rear seat should be a piece of paper called a build sheet..... don't trash it. check out yearone.com and classicindustries.com for some good resto stuff GOOD LUCK

EASY to install... bolts might need a cheater bar to break loose tho, and would recommend you SOAK them in peneterating oil the night before.
Back seats probably shove back and up to release from catch
Might also check into getting them redone... may be cheaper (try looking for shops and individuals... dealer repair shops are sky high and from my own experience, NOT ONE BIT BETTER)

You'll need a special reverse torx socket I beleive, for the front seats,Beleive on not,the back seats in mine were GLUED in.I had a '84 and a '92 of the same.

its just seat and 87 is a crap car, dont spend your money on it, save up buy something under 5000

there not hard at all my wife has a shop and does them all the time,,and there not hard to install,,just take your time,,and you can do it,,and make them look really good,,i hope this help,s.
