Yes, I know it is early but I'm curious who will run for both parties?
Do you believe in the 2 party system? What do you fear/hope for the next election? What is important to you?
If you are a non-voter what would you like to add to the discussion? Why don't you vote? What is your hope/fear for the USA? I know it's a lot of ??? but I just welcome an open debate. Thanks for your thoughtful responses.

I can't wait to get this fool out of office. But God knows that the next president will also be an idiot.

I am actually pulling for a Independent Party Suprise! I know that the only major Independent Party to EVER come close to winning a Presidental election was Teddy Roosevelt who represented the Bull-Moose Party, but i feel that both the Republicans and Democrats are too busy bickering about each others 'agendas' and not focusing on the WILL OF THE PEOPLE!

I for one will not vote for either party because both parties have strayed from the principle of limited government. Both the republicans and democrats are splitting this nation into civil war. Yes, I said war. What else do you call it when the people are split, the people are fighting for one another's beliefs, and the government and the representatives are in no way able to reconcile their differences? This was one of the reason's that the Civil War was created, because of splits between the parties and the people (Slavery was NOT the cause of war, it was the matter of States Rights).

I believe that if an independent runs, people will not brush him off as likely as before, but I do know that the possibility of a third party candidate winning is slim. After all, America has accepted the Democrat and Republican parties as the most traditional, even though they both f' up, you know either or is going to win.

Oh, how I wish the revitilization of the Federalist party could happen!

I, for one am not looking forward to the next election. In fact, I have just about lost faith in our political system. We are constantly being bombarded with lies and half-truths regarding the situation in Iraq. More and more, I am beginning to wish I had never heard of those places over there. I think it is disgusting how some of our military is being treated. I believe it is unheard of for soldiers to be tried for war crimes while the war is going on. The whole Bush administration should be thrown out! I'm seriously considering not taking part in the next "election." These people are not to be trusted.

No don't fear the election. Either way what ever party gets in we are in for some pretty rough times. Things are moving really fast in a number of directions that will demand action to be taken and taken speedily. If not, we may just be a bump in the pages of history.

I look forward to every presidential election - The most important thing to me is being an informed voter. Watching debates, searching for facts on the Internet, and debating with those that don't agree with my stand. My fear is that I will meet one of those people who think that they can chant bumper sticker-like slogans at me in attempt to influence my decision. It scares me that people who are not informed voter get to cast a ballot.

1) Don't have a clue.

2) Not in the least.

3) Nothing will change, that is my fear. My hope is for a non party candidate who is a slave to no sponsor.

4) I need to vote. I couldn't ***** otherwise.

5) I vote.

6) My hope is that the rift between the people of this country narrows itself so we all don't hate each other. My fear is that our next pres will be a slave to his party and will exploit the people who voted for them by not doing anything.

think of the elections are approx 2 years away yet. think of u . s . a . basically had the 'mid words' and wager this skill 2 years into the recent US.gov - time for the human beings to coach their approval or in any different case. seems in any different case. Liz Taylor has already have been given the ball rolling and has donated a sum (i think of the decrease is approximately £a million,a hundred) to the Hillary Clinton marketing campaign. HC desires Hollywood approval and appears like she is going to get it. save watching the displays - it is all obtainable someplace.
