CRIKEY!
Totally uncalled for question.
You are an insensitive cruel and callous person.
He left a young family behind and a grieving widow.
He has left some rather large shoes which you could never hope to fill

to say that would mean that if u got in a car accident, u had it coming, if u got hit by a car u had it coming, things u do in your everyday life can be dangerous so don't go out no more and make sure u don't associate with anybody because if they get mad at u and kill u then u had it coming, might as well live your life alone but make sure u never see daylight again or u might have a heatstroke and again had it coming. RIP steve irwin, u will be greatly missed, one of the few true fans u have is here, i don't think u had it coming any worse than everybody else on earth, God be with terri and the kids and help them through this tragic time

newsflash for everyone here, we ALL have it coming. That big ole Kasey Kasem Countdown started the minute we poke our head outta the womb and the doctor (or emt, firefighter, cop, taxi driver) smacked us on the ace.
Some just choose professions or activities that accelerate that clock.
Did Steve Irwin do this? Hell yeah he did, and I tell you what, no matter how much personally I didnt like the guy or his act (I'm much more a Corwin, Hannah guy when it comes to animal crazies) I will tell you this, the emm effer looked happy as shiite every time he was doing his job.
So if people wanna bag on the dude for "getting what he deserved" fine, if it makes you feel better. Just remember, alot of us may die 20, 30 40 or even 60 years older than Irwin did, but he died a helluva lot happier, so bless the s . o . b. for that.

So when a coal Miner gets trapped in a mine that has collapsed we should say .. guess they had it coming?
The Croc hunter LOVED animals and liked to teach us things about the animals and how dangerous they are. He had a passion for what he was doing.
Let the poor man rest in peace.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Yeah just like airline pilots, people in the military, and Alaskan crab fishermen have it coming. Really...just because your job is dangerous doesn't mean you "have it coming". Otherwise, you'd probably be dead because all jobs carry some amount of inherent risk.

I agree. He played a hand with death all the time....it was his job. It may sound mean, but I think it was bound to happen sooner or later. Too bad it happened sooner though. I do feel for his family and send my condolences.

It is true, if you play with fire you get burnt,
But it isn't fair to say in no uncertain terms that he deserved it,
He was a great guy, and it was a freak accident, He wasn't even meant to film Sting-Rays he was meant to be filiming RockFish, But he deicded to do some diving with the StingRays instead,
God bless his soul xx =(

I sure didnt expect him to die of old age anyway!
Anyone who makes it a habit to aggravate & chase wild animals around should expect that someday something bad might happen.

Unfortunately I too, feel that Steve Irwin "got what he deserved".
I lost ALOT of respect for that man when he held his infant son (Bob) in one arm and fed a crocodile raw meat with the other hand. I also want to know what was wrong with his wife Terri to allow him to take their son into the enclosure with him, with the crocodile there. Both Steve Irwin & Terri Irwin needed to have behinds kicked for that one.
Well, it's not nice to speak ill of the dead so I'll leave you with this simple saying - Crickey - have a lovely rest of the evening, Mate.
