I sometimes wonder if we push to far into stars lives, it seem sas though the media goes to far, but then again, they make a ridiculous amount of money and if they don't really didn't want to be bothered, then don't live in hollywood right?...I mean, their are plenty of stars who skate below the radar because they don't need the attention. Then their are people like Tom Cruise who love the attention when they are promoting a movie...but when they are getting slammed, they all of the sudden want to disappear?

Let me ask this, did anyone feel sorry for Paris Hilton today??

I think that the media goes way to far with celebrities. Just because someone is famous doesn't mean that the person's private life should be splashed all over all the magazines. It's one thing if the person is purposely doing things to get media attention but taking pictures of people topless in the privacy of their own home or chasing after people who are out with their kids trying to have a "normal" day at the beach or whatever is just sad. I think there are times when it is appropriate to pay extra attention to a "star" and I didn't feel sorry for Paris. However, the kids of the stars don't deserve that type of treatment. And things done in a person's home etc should be private.

The stars may not deserve it, but they thrive on it. These ego-maniacs will do just about anything to keep the public's attention. Janet Jackson's antics at the Super Bowl may have been inspired by the fact that brother Michael was getting all the hype at his trial and poor Janet was being forgotten.
Feel sorry for Paris? You have to be smoking wacky tobaccy. She drank, she drove, she got her ugly butt in jail. I'm sure "Daddy" will get her off with a high-dollar lawyer. If Paris had been born in a normal household, she would be asking, "Do you want fries with that?" in the course of her job.

Miss Hilton's reported incident today is exactly the point of scrutiny being way out of control and proportion. Within a 10 minute span of time, I noticed the story changing. What type of news is this to me anyway when her driving erratically occurred 1,000 miles away from my present situation at hand? I dare say we were ALL seeing scarier scenes before us during the drive time home today while this story was being reported.

I didn't. When you choose to be a star you have to take what comes with it. Which means that the media is going to invade every part of your life. I don't agree that the media should, but that's the way it's always been and I doubt it's gonna change.
