Is this where christians come to attack Science?? Last time I checked this was the Science & Mathematics category, not the Religion & Spirituality category. Also the last time I went to that particular category, it wasn't to insult the other participants there, but rather to expand my knowledge of the subject and share my opinions politely and with respect for different beliefs, and religions. However after being attacked multiple times by members of various religious denominations, for merely expressing my opinion in a mature and respectful way... I came back to this category where the people seem to be alot less confrontational and judgemental, and can accept different points of view with equanimity. Your display of blatant hatred based on your own intolerance of others beliefs, only serves to remind me why I remain unaffiliated with any religious group..... Please, follow the teachings laid out in your own religious texts and "Don't judge others, lest ye yourself be judged.."

Science and the Theory of Evolution do not attack Christianity. They try to apply the scientific method to the world as a way of discovering what's true. Many people who are Biblical literalists and "Creation Scientists" (what does that really mean, by the way?) think that the answers have already been revealed. That's fine, but it's not science. There are probably more scientists who believe in god than there are fundamentalists who really believe in science.
You say I'll burn in hell because I believe in evolution;
the Muslims say I'll burn in hell because I don't think Mohammed had the last word about god;
the Buddhists say I'll burn in hell because I can't let go of my desires ...
Guess I'm going to have a warm hereafter ...

Attack Christianity???

You point to a single evolutionist "attacking Christianity", and I'll point to 15 posts with fundamentalists attacking "evolutionists".

Let's start with yours ... calling someone an "evolutionist" is like calling someone an "electicityist" or a "gravityist."

And concluding with "You will burn in hell!"

What a shining example of Christ's love you are ... you petty little hypocrite.

I won't burn in any imaginary place. The Bible says that as you judge others, so shall you be judged, so if Hell existed, you'd be the first one there. You should be glad it doesn't exist. Are you lost? This is Science, so it's far beyond your comprehension. Stay in the Religion category that is more suited to your immature brain. No one needs to concoct any new ideas to attack an outmoded belief system. We scientists and logicians just ignore imbeciles, unless they misbehave badly. What's wrong? Isn't anyone paying attention to the spoiled brat?
