that's not good, I don't know the answer, but I do know this I sat on a jury, a young girl wrote a NSF at a gas station and they came after her for 20.00. What jerks, she even offered to pay it and pay the monies for writing a bad check. But no they came after her.....it was one of the saddest things I ever saw. And thank god she settle before we had to vote. I think I could not of done it to her.

Georgia has the worst legislative website of all 50 states, so it's difficult to tell. You might want to check your local library. They should have an indexed version of the Georgia code that should make it pretty easy to find out.

They probably won't let it go. If you continue to ignore it, they consider that to be theft. They can prosecute.
