I receive 7 or 8 of these a day-never from anyone I know-and the subject line is ridiculous. I know they are viruses. Please help!

It depends on what service you have for email. Some email services will automatically try to filter emails that contain suspicious content or attachments, while others do not. A good rule of thumb is to just delete any emails that you think are suspect.

There are also many software companies that offer the scanning ability for email accounts. Simply go to GOOGLE and type in virus prevention email. Then at your leisure and preference, you can read about prevention and what to do if you suspect an email.

With the freedom of the internet, comes the problems of viruses and destructive worms. Just be cautious and delete the emails that you have concerns about. Good Luck!

How do you know they contain viruses?
You should not open mail from anyone you do not know or trust.

If they go to your inbox, click the box in front of sender, then click SPAM. That address will go on your "blocked" list and you won't hear from that person again.

If they go to your bulk mail:
- When you are in Yahoo Mail, click on Options
- click General Preferences
- Indicate how many messages you want to see at a time.

I have mine set to 25. When I get a lot of bulk mail, I scan down the column of senders. If I do not know or care about any of them, click the "check all" button, They will all receive a checkmark. Now, click "delete." They will all be deleted with one click. Easy enough.

You will get SPAM. We all do. Just don't open them or add them to your address book. Do not respond to them. This merely confirms that they have hit a valid address.

Tell your personal contacts and friends, etc. to write the e-mails addresses in the field "blind copy" in order to avoid that anybody knows your e mail address.
All those mails containing reflexions, kids with cancer, that become a chain, are created only to get e mail addresses from everywhere.

It is really hard to get rid of them, but at least you can stop this trend.

And remember: Never reply !!!

Scan it before you open it. And if you know these people send you viruses, just don't open it.E-mails that I don't recognize the sender i simply don't open .I delete them. To get rid of them you have to run your anti-virus program, quarantine them and then delete them.

hi, there are some virus with your IE browser.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
