I'm gauging my nipples up, and while I'm going to stop when I think it looks good, I wanted to get other people's opinion of what looks good.

PS. I am male. Mine are already pierced (and have been for 2 years) with 14g rings. That was what they put in me at the tattoo/piercing shop, and I had no idea about gauges at the time.

I think a 6 or a 4g would look good.

It largely depends on the size of your nipple...particularly for aesthetic purposes. While you can go up as far as you want provided you don't ultimately tear it, there's a point where the size proportions may not be as appealing.
If you have small nipples, maybe 14 is ok. Big ol' eraser heads might look good with 6 :)
A good ballpark medium (IMNSHO) is 10. I've had them up to 8 before and then it just got a little too heavy for my taste.

14 is the normal gauge to get pierced.(usuially 14g 7/16)
Personally, I think 12g and 10g is good.It depends on your nipple size and the depth it was pierced at.
Dont skip gauges.

dude. id say like 14. maybe 12. i think any larger and you might be asking for trouble, like nerve damage or something like that. but its up to you. i guess just see how you feel when ya get there. but i think 14 would look attractive. thats as high as i would go personally. im thinking about getting my nipple pierced and id stay at a like 18 or 16. but thats just me and im a chick so its different. hope that helps.

Go to Home Depot and ask for a 3 foot section of 4 inch iron pipe.
Show your nipples to the salesman and he will beat you with this pipe until you come to your senses and realize how barbaric and silly it is to shove metal through perfectly good nipples.

For guys, I'd say no larger than the width of the tip of your nipple. You know what I mean?
