my 1st cousin on my father's side is quite taken by me.even her family approves.she's 7yr younger than me.what's your suggestion(s)?

That depends entirely on your religion, the state you live in, and the family history. The reason consanguineous marriages are frowned on in many places is because it doubles the risk of a bad gene and defective children, if there is any of that in the family. On the other hand, if everyone in the family is brilliant, and has no hereditary problems that could be passed on (and you have to check back several generations on this) it could be okay.
Your first move is to find out if it is legal where you live, and then to have a serious talk with a geneticist to find out if it's a good idea or not.

First cousins are a genetic non-no and are probably also illegal. Why not look for someone else who might become quite taken with you but is part of another family? If your parents approve they could have the same in-bred gene that you should be avoiding.

Do you want to have kids with noses growing out of their foreheads or some other freakish thing? I know some people marry their first cousins but, it is illegal in most states and I think it's downright immoral. Can't you guys go out and meet other people?

ok well ppl think it is wrong b/c they are actually related too u plus the age differnce is pretty large make sure u think about this before the huge commitment do u think she is the right one and that u can handle all of the pressure. just dojn't do anything u will regret

Rednecks are stereotyped as participating in such relationships.
I think in most states it's now legal; I doubt the question comes up on marriage license applications. ( not sure), but for me, it would be too close.
That said , if she is really for you, then check it out. It could be worse!
