For those of you who have read my questions, you'll recall about a month ago I said that Republicans would be using FEAR and SCARE to manipulate America into their votes. I said the terror alert system would make a comeback, some so-called terrorist plots would be busted just before voting begins, and that Bin Laden would conveniently release a tape around election time.

DAMN I'M GOOD!! Are we being duped by Republicans by using terrorism for supporting them? Are mind games being played on us so we vote Republican? Is SCARE tactics being used to frieghten the crap out of us just before elections? Is this the "ace in the hole" the Republicans are imploying. And are any of you buying this crap?

These are some very very interesting links that may shed some light on the subject.http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2006/150806thenexus.htm

Yes. I agree with you that Republicans are milking this fear situation for all it's worth! I mean, get serious. How many of you really believe that George Bush has single-handedly prevented us from being attacked again by Al Qaeida? With the sheer number of Islamic fascist-types walking around freely in our country, we could be hit at anytime and anywhere. All of the PR is released in time to make Bush and the Republicans look good.

Are you kidding me? The Dems are the masters of scaring the elderly (grandma's eating dogfood) and fanning the flames of class warfare ("tax cuts for the rich") among the middle class, poor, and working Americans (whatever that means) by consistently spouting untruths. They have no shame whatsoever. Dems rely upon the least informed among us in order to get elected.

Pretty sad when you think about it.

Telling the truth does not benefit the Democrats.

Seems to me you are using scare and fear tactics just with that picture! Are you always as angry as you appear? Did you make your face look like that on purpose?
Sorry about the personal attack, but I've been meaning to ask that for a while....Republicans are not trying to scare anyone. What should scare you is 9/11 and the fact that there are people out there who want to do it again, bigger and better. They don't care who is in the White House or Senate. To them a dead republican is the same as a dead democrat!

i recently watched a clip from Keith Olbermann the place he compiled some information pictures, calling it the "Nexus of Politics and Terror". Like he says up front, merely because of the fact one journey occurs and that's accompanied by yet another presently afterwards does no longer mean that the two are related, yet neither does it disprove the alternative. it rather is organic Fascism, no longer something much less.

good one .. and yes of course they have been using this old chestnut for some time now.. Amazing that there is anyone that claims to have a brain would go in for it.. But I think people get addicted to fear. Boogie men are introduced by parents to scare their children into being wary of strangers.. well is it so different in our patriarchal society that our protectors would not want to "scare" us away from whatever enemy that they can create in our minds ? It is so simple and yet so obvious that it defies reason..

Those Rep...how did they manage to manipulate those peoples to vote. NO ONE can be manipulated unless they give their consent to do so. But then again....the Dem's don't manipulate, or plain just alter the truth do they. Of course no..their for the little guy....staying the little guy and under their foots.
