When you have God first, all the good things will follow.
But be careful. I want to mean here the One True God introduced in the Holy Book, and not any imaginary spirits told us through human mouths.
I got married 40 years ago, now I have not only a wonderful wife, but also the most loving chidren and grandchildren. And all my in-laws are admirable. I am really thankful to the One True God for His merciful bestowals on my life.

I was thinking that my (now) husband and i were being very naughty as we eloped to the registry office. We were giggling the whole way through the ceremony and then we went for a chinese! We didn't tell anyone for 3 months that we were married!!!!! Still makes me giggle. Guess i wasn't thinking much about God then, but i do beleive that he brought Chris to me at a time when i needed someone to love me unconditionally. Yippeeee.

At the time, God was the farthest person from my life and mind when I was married. I was so lost, so unsaved, and so destined at that moment to go to hell. But thank goodness for God's grace and mercy and neverending love! Because in a week, we celebrate 7 awesome years together! :) And God is at the core of it all now! :)

Both!
Great question!
God is the center of marriage. He gace you two to each other and wants to be in the midst of your relationship and home. And it is more wonderful than you can imagine. See you relationship through his eyes and with his help and you will find the greatest blessing and get through anything.
God loves your love for each other! Think about him and your loved one.

I was thinking about both, and fuming that his ex came uninvited to the wedding and tried to make a scene!

I got so lost in my husband's eyes...I wasn't aware of much... other than how thankful I was to have him. I was a blubbering idiot & he was so steadfast.
So...I guess it's impossible to seperate the two...I was thinking of both.
