Every day have to reset the clock... jumps back to 2001 Jan. Battery changed, same problem

The usual cause for this sort of problem is the CMOS battery. Check the battery independently of the computer system to ensure that it is working propery and if so, update or "flash" the bios.

sounds to me like the BIOS is failing. You can try to update the BIOS< but I would think that the board is just going kaput... sorry.

my problem was regional. dont know about yours
