That happens all the time at my house... We're always flicking them at each other and hiding them in each other's food... Freakin' hilarious!!!... LOL

Were you always getting a in grown nail and having to pull it out? After doing this too many times and/or the wrong way this can cause your toe nails to fall off. Or did you bruise it recently and just let it be? Not taking care of a bruised nail can also cause this to happen!

You might have a nail fungus infection (most likely especially if the part that came off is thickened) or you might have bashed it stubbing your toe. Get it looked at.

Don`t feel too bad. It will grow back and you can always go an have a artificial one put on at the nail saloon. You probably have fungus....

It mey be that you broke you cuticle. That happened to my brother one time, except on his finger. His nail just kept peeling away until it came off one. It grew back pretty quickly. It's nothing don't worry about it.

Is that possible? I think you had fungus. You might not have realized that you had it. If you kept your fingernail polish on too long (I had a friend tell me) that it can become infected. I would check with a local foot doctor.

you could have fungus on your toes it will eventually grow back look on your toes to see if they are yellow if so you will need a prescription for nail fungus
